I used to be pulled into all the drama. I knew everything, and the saying is true; knowledge is power. But its not always a good kind of power. I always thought I was higher than everyone else, and now you do too. I felt like the only way for me to be friends with someone was if they were somehow involved in the situation too. Or I felt like I had to tell them everything I knew. I know exactly how you feel, alone. 

//don't worry about those who talk to you behind your back, they're behind you for a reason//

 I've been on both sides of the spectrum, and neither feel incredibly great. Tearing other people down doesn't make you feel any taller, it just makes you crumble. You can't let your loneliness effect another person's happiness. And to the one who's being talked about; don't believe the lies they tell others about you. At the end of the day you get to decide the life you live, not some salty drama queen. 

So dear old self, 
Don't do it. It's not worth it. True friendships won't be built upon lies, they'll be built upon vulnerability, and trust. Don't talk behind her back, it'll come back to bite you. You'll lie awake at night not being able to get over the fact that you're hurting you more than them. Your loneliness doesn't have to hurt anyone.
